Function/capability:

  • The automatic micro-hardness tester serves for nondestructive hardness testing (Vickers and Knoop hardness) with small test loads from 19.62x10-3 N to 3924x10-3 N. It is used for the determination of the hardness of metals,ores,glass and ceramic parts, electroplating and industrial products.

Research projects:

  • PhD Thesis: A longitudinal clinical trial on the effectiveness of silver diamine fluoride and sodium fluoride varnish in arresting dentine caries in pre-school children in Southern China. (Dr. Chu Chun Hung)
