I. Principal Collaborating Institutions
The University of Hong Kong Faculty of Dentistry is committed to co-operating with a number of Schools of Stomatology throughout the Mainland, in Beijing, Shanghai, Chengdu, Xi'an, and Wuhan. This co-operation with the Mainland serves to enhance research, teaching, clinical activities and professional development in Dentistry throughout China. A number of focused education and research programmes have already taken place. Many faculty staff hold honorary appointments in these mainland universities. In 2003 in line with Hong Kong SAR Government's policy towards the Pearl River Delta, a collaborative agreement was also signed with Guanghua School of Stomatology, Sun-Yat-Sen University in Guangzhou.
